Shipping and Delivery

At Midcenturies, we aim to provide a seamless and secure delivery experience for every customer. Our shipping process is designed for transparency, speed, and reliability—whether you’re ordering a single item or furnishing an entire space.

Shipping Times

The “Ships In” estimate shown at checkout tells you when your order is expected to leave our warehouse. Most items in your order will ship together for a smoother delivery experience.

  • QuickShip: In-stock items usually arrive within 3–10 business days from our U.S. warehouse.
  • Made-to-Order: Custom-made pieces are delivered within 8–12 weeks, and we’ll keep you updated throughout the process.

Once your order ships, delivery typically takes 2–3 business days, depending on your location. Please note that deliveries to rural or remote areas may take an extra 2–3 days.

Important: Delivery times may be affected by events such as severe weather or natural disasters. If there’s a delay, we’ll notify you as soon as possible. Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking details so you can follow your shipment in real time. You can also view estimated delivery windows on our Track My Order page.

Please note: We currently do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or U.S. territories. 

Shipping Fees

Your order total and destination ZIP code determine our shipping fees. The delivery charge shown at checkout is a flat subsidized rate, which means Midcenturies covers part of the actual shipping cost to offer high-quality, insured delivery at a reasonable price—without hidden fees.

Delivery Methods

FedEx Delivery

We use FedEx Delivery for smaller items like lighting and dining chairs. This standard service is fast and reliable, with deliveries occurring seven days a week for residential addresses and Monday through Saturday for commercial addresses. If no signature is required, the package will be left at your doorstep.

Threshold Delivery

For medium-to-large items like sofas, tables, and lounge chairs, we use Threshold Delivery. This service guarantees the delivery of items to the first dry and secure area on your property, like a porch or garage. Your appointment will be scheduled for your convenience.

White Glove Delivery

White Glove Delivery is available in select ZIP codes and provides a premium experience. Our delivery team will carry the item into your home, unpack it, assemble it (if required), and remove all packaging. If eligible, this option will appear at checkout.

Missed Deliveries

For FedEx shipments requiring a signature, FedEx will attempt redelivery the next business day if the recipient is unavailable. For threshold and white glove deliveries, customers are eligible for one complimentary rescheduling. Missing the second appointment results in a $100 rescheduling fee. If someone steals your package after delivery, you can file a claim under Route’s Porch Piracy Protection.

Defective Products (Non-Shipping Related Issues)

Midcenturies guarantees the quality of all items before shipment. If you experience a product defect not caused by shipping, please report it within 30 days of delivery by contacting support@midcenturies.com and providing

  • Your order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photos or videos of the defect

After verification, Midcenturies will arrange a replacement or repair under our product warranty policy. We ship replacements for verified manufacturing defects within 5–7 business days. Please note: Defective products are only eligible for replacement of the item (same style, color, and finish). We do not offer refunds or exchanges for alternative products in these cases.
